They're based on a fringe group that, by virtue of being a gun owner and lover of tactical gear (could you tell?), that I come into contact with a lot.
There's pro 2A, and then there's these guys. Unironically, on public social media they post about killing cops and national guardsmen in a coming civil war. They're like a whole group of walking libertarian/ancap stereotypes.
I refuse to name the group or their movement, just because of how dumb it all is.
The thing that gets me is how they wonder why the cops keep tabs on them. They flex with thousand dollar vests and night vision, with captions like 'civil war when?' and are surprised when people don't like them.
Like hell, can't a guy just enjoy his weapons and expensive dress up stuff without becoming a domestic terrorist? All I wanna do it shoot my boomsticks.
They're the kind of people who make Americans look bad.
