COUNTDOWN tells the story of a USEC strike team during the 2039 Ukraine Crisis. Tasked with extracting a high value target from the city of Kiev, the men and women of USEC's Special Projects Division will have to cooperate with local forces to ensure a successful extraction.

Behind The Scenes stuff:

I'm doing the thing again.

Countdown is being produced alongside new Chapter 7 material. I'm delaying the release/formal start so I can produce enough content to have a consistent upload schedule, but not by much. A lot has been done already, I just want to have a small upload schedule planned out in advance so I can focus on making things as good as possible. I'm focusing on quality now, really trying to provide a visually stimulating, actually dramatic story. Now that things are getting a bit dicey in Samantha and Arthur's lives, I'm finally able to explore some of the more personal themes I've wanted to use for a while. A lot of the stuff coming up is inspired by a really dark period in my life, and I've noticed that it makes for great reading, so digging up those wounds will be worth it in the end. I hope that I earn the ending I have planned with what's coming up.

On the resource side, I've been working with textures a lot. Making uniforms and faces for models has consumed a lot of my free time, but it's resulting in some really nice assets for me to use. Countdown in particular will be featuring a lot of Trouble produced gear, as it takes place during an actual, full scale war.

On the personal life side, things are looking really great. I scored a trade job as an RV technician, which has been super great for my mental health. In contrast to the bleak, depressing factory job I used to work, I look forward to working every day now -which is somewhat unheard of from me, I'm usually a horrible complainer when it comes to work. I lived in an RV for 7 years, so a lot of the things I have to do are already familiar. I'm training under a skilled tradesman, making more money than I've ever made in my life, and learning a ton. I don't really have many people to vent to about this in my personal sphere (My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy for getting into this industry and my buddies are all welders so they don't care lol), so that's why I'm cheesing about it here. I'm actually making plans currently to purchase my own RV and get out of my apartment. No matter how you slice it, paying lot rent and electricity is gonna put more money back into my pockets which will allow me to do the things I love. Hiking, shooting, camping... I can do it all now, guys.

Hell, I've even thought about producing some extra content on the side for youtube. Gear discussion, firearms content, shorts related to the universe of STRIPPED (there's something in progress right now that I'm really hyped to show you guys). Fuck man, things are good.

Alrighty, I've gabbed enough. Time for me to get back to work.

With malice,
