Remember when I mentioned that Cascadia was a Russian ally (and possibly a puppet state)? Originally I wanted to have them using surplus Russian kit from the 2010s to strengthen that bond in the story. I'm still fond of this design and really want to work it in someplace later down the line. Maybe Cascadia will outsource to their ally for some trials in a few months, since as late their equipment has been pretty varied and irregular.
