Green tip can denote several rounds used by different weapons. The specific round used in these pages by our USEC friends are M855 rounds, which are not inherently Armor Piercing. But, by virtue of flying at speeds exceeding 3k feet per second, are able to punch through decades old level 4 plates that were *ahem* liberated from a national guard depot.
